We have been welcomed with open arms here in San Juan, by everyone from the governor of the province to the minister of education and the US embassy. They have kept us busy from early in the morning until very late at night, so it has been difficult to find time to blog. We have been in the local press a couple of times, and the students have also been interviewed for radio and television shows, and are getting lots of opportunities to practice their Spanish in front of a very large audience.
Here is the link to the article about our arrival at the Mary O. Graham school and the welcoming ceremony we were given.
