SHRM students volunteering to pick up around Winona.

On Wednesday, October 25, the students of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) hosted a campus-wide cleanup event. Students from many different majors showed up on that beautiful Wednesday afternoon to pick up trash around the university and the community.

The students who gathered wanted to give back to the community in a meaningful way, and cleaning up across campus and then branching out to the community was a great way to do that. SHRM is the largest human resource professional organization on campus. They host many different events revolving around enhancing your resume and volunteering opportunities.

After the students finished cleaning up around the community it was clear to see a wave of pride wash over the group. The students felt a great deal of accomplishment after spending their Wednesday keeping Winona the beautiful city it is.
