In the College of Business, Create Your More is much more than just a catchy slogan. It’s how every student, professor, and faculty member lives each day to create their more in unique and deeply personal ways. For some, it is through involvement with a College of Business organization, such as the American Marketing Association. For others, it is through attending speaker events and networking with businesspeople within the community. With countless opportunities, it is easy for members of the College of Business to add value and contribute to the causes they care about.

The #CreateYourMore social campaign was created to allow students and other members of the College of Business to share how the university impacts them. It is both an outreach program to educate people about the benefits of tweeting and online networking, as well as providing a platform for stories to be shared and connections to be made. In the process, the College of Business Twitter page was reintroduced.

Several amazing posts were shared over the course of the campaign. The following highlights a few memorable moments from the campaign and showcases how the Create Your More message illuminates the campus:

“My time at @WinonaStateCOB has been full of opportunities to improve the Winona State Campus, as well as Winona as a community. It’s been an honor working and studying for a school that is all about the student. #CreateYourMore”

“The WSU College of Business students have helped me to #creareyourmore create my more… or at least to create a Twitter account. Looks like I’ll do anything for these students. They are the best!”

“I’m a proud advocate for the @WinonaStateCOB #CreateYourMore campaign because it has allowed me to learn more about servant leadership.”

This campaign gave students a voice and a way to share how WSU has changed the lives of students, faculty, and community members.

I hope members of our community continue to share all the ways WSU’s College of Business has challenged and supported them over the years. I challenge all members of this outstanding community to continue to connect, serve, and mentor one another as we move forward. Never forget that each day offers another opportunity to Create Your More!
