The College of Business celebrated the first ever Induction Ceremony on April 10th. The inaugural ceremony brought parents, faculty, and of course, the inductees together to celebrate their official entry into the college.
McKenzie Koepp, the Dean’s Advisory Board Chair, hosted the event and welcomed guests as she congratulated the inductees. Dr. Jason Kight took the opportunity to share his experiences in the College of Business and welcomed the inductees into our community of learners dedicated to making the world a better place. After Dr. Kight’s speech, Dr. Hamid Akbari, the Dean of the College of Business, spoke on the importance of “Creating Your MORE” and the resources available to students to do just that.
As the evening continued on, McKenzie Koepp took the stand and started reading off names, one by one, as each inductee walked across the stage and received their official College of Business inductee pins.
A short reception followed the ceremony in the Engagement Center, where parents could meet professors and speakers, as well as celebrate with their successful scholars who are now members of the College of Business on their own path to Create Their MORE.
