Johnathan Ta has been chosen as the student of the game for the November 21st men’s basketball game against St. Mary’s University. Since being accepted into Winona State’s College of Business, Ta has been given many incredible opportunities to Create His More. Some of those opportunities were working as a teaching assistant for Professor Pat Paulson, and working on projects with the wonderful students in the Management Information Systems Association. Ta’s favorite part of the College of Business is by far the people. From the students to faculty to administrative staff, Ta has been able to meet and work with a tremendous number of hard-working, intelligent, and passionate people. His time at Winona has given Ta a strong network of alumni, friends, and colleagues to lean on in the future, which will only benefit him as he transitions from university life into a career.
Student of the Game, started in the Fall of 2017, highlights students who have worked to make the College of Business a better place for students and faculty. Recipients of the award are chosen by the Deans Advisory Board in coordination with College of Business faculty.
