Both these characteristics were very important to me when I was deciding on a place to learn and develop as an individual.<\/p>\n

My favorite part of being a student at WSU is the fact that the University is so accepting.<\/p>\n
I never felt as if I needed to change myself in order to fit in. And most importantly, I’ve been valued and respected as a contributing student.<\/p>\n

WSU is a school that rewards hard work.<\/p>\n
After pouring a lot of effort into bettering myself and the University providing me this education, I can see personal and University-wide improvements. That’s something I can be proud of.<\/p>\n

\nThe faculty at large have been my mentors at WSU. No matter what class I’ve taken, I’ve always had the opportunity to develop a relationship with my professors.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
With those underlying relationships established, I’ve been able to ask challenging questions, debate subjects, or inquire about misunderstood topics.<\/p>\n

Don’t be afraid of stepping outside of your comfort zone. Growth is always uncomfortable.<\/p>\n
\nReal successful individuals are the ones who are capable of living with the uncomfortable while pursuing their passions.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
