5 pm on Tuesday, September 12, another beautiful day in Winona, MN. While most students were at the library or home studying, an elite class of business professionals met aboard the Cal Fremling to discuss the status of the city and Winona State University. The “College of Business Community Leadership Advisory Board” (abbreviated to C-LAB) members represent different businesses or entities here in Winona or beyond. C-LAB meets three to four times a year in order to provide advice and share their wisdom with the Dean and faculty of College of Business. Each member also engages with the College in a meaningful and impactful way via major projects. C-LAB has been a significant constituency in supporting and providing the College of Business with support and resources towards reaching its vision of a distinct college for \u201cinnovative engaged teaching and learning\u201d as captured by its brand of \u201cCreate Your More.\u201d The members of the C-LAB are as follows:<\/p>\n

The C-LAB\u2019s next scheduled meeting is not until November 30th, but with it will come fresh ideas on how to further improve and support the College of Business. Until then, be on the lookout for new developments on campus and in Winona that encourage the development of College of Business students and the businesses that support the city.<\/p>\n
