Why I chose Biology at WSU
I chose biology, more specifically environmental science, because of my fascination with life, nature, and the outdoors.
What I gained from my experience in the Biology Department
Like many students, I gained a wealth of knowledge of how the world works. But more importantly to me, I have been lucky to develop many great relationships with students and faculty. Without the help and support from the Biology Department faculty during some very difficult times, I would not be here today.
What I am doing after graduation
I plan on working for one of several land development companies in the Rochester area as an environmental scientist. The position will require various types of habitat assessments and river surveys.
